Greek Acrostic Poem by Alfie

Rulers of Olympic Games,

Exquisite landmarks and buildings.

Eris, Goddess of strife and dischord,

Comes back to haunt Greece.

Excellence will come back to Greece.

    Greece, you are gods and you are mortals;
    Realm of Athens, land of Sparta
    Euclid’s drawingboard, Orpheus’s portal;
    Eroica is your history,
    Comedy, and tragedy
    Eκ του μηδενός…ex nihilo GREECE
